Delete your account

You can delete your pocketVitals account yourself, at any time, without asking us. It takes about a minute and it is permanent.

How to do it

  1. Sign in at pocketvitals.net.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and follow the confirmation.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will do it for you.

What gets deleted

Everything of yours, not just the login. Your records and the files you uploaded, the values read from them, your dialysis sessions and vitals, your medical profile, allergies, medications and conditions, your emergency contacts, your questions to the assistant, any sharing links you created, and the account itself.

If you share with family, your membership and any access you were given or granted go with your account. Records that belong to another person, and anything they shared with you, stay with them. Profiles you created for someone who has no login of their own stay with the family too, so whoever else is in it can still reach them.

Two cases work differently, on purpose. If you are the only person left in a family, it is closed and any profiles you created for others are deleted with it, because nobody would be able to reach them afterwards. And if you administer a family that other people are still in, you will be asked to hand that role to someone else first, so nobody is locked out of their own records.

What that means

It cannot be undone. There is no restore, no grace period and no archived copy you can ask us to bring back. If you want to keep your history, use Download my data in Settings first, which gives you everything in one file.

Two things do survive, and it is fair that you know why. Encrypted backups roll on their own schedule and a copy may persist in them for a short period before it cycles out. And if your email address ever bounced or was marked as spam, we keep that address on a suppression list so we do not mail it again.

More detail is in our privacy policy.
